I have a passion

I'm not as good as my sister or the other photographers in my life but I have definitely discovered my love for photography. I enjoy more of the unique scenery photos over people or families. And I love doing the editing! I would never quit my day job, but it's super fun and I feel like its just yet another creative outlet for myself. :)

it will be a sad sad day....

The time is coming and I knew it would buy just not really ready for it. I'm talking about my sweet puppers JJ. J is going on 15 years old now and still acting good but moving slower and slower each day. the colder it gets the more we see him going down hill. He also has a lump on one of his back legs. Usually it goes in and out but stays pretty small, well now it's getting bigger and bigger and lets face it at 15 years old we're not going to put a lot of money in to him. The day I have to put him down will probably be the hardest day I have ever had to go through. I've had j since he was 9weeks old! He has been in my life before my kids and husband. Thinking about him today I started crying just thinkin about it I can't even imagine the actual day.... :(

Perfect afternoon.

One of my favorite months!  It's a busy one but if you take the time to take in a little of it each day, it's seriously one of the best times of the year.

It doesn't happen often but this week I actually had a couple days to just be home and catch up on cleaning, decorate for Christmas and do a few crafts with the kids.  I sit here now sipping my candy cane tea quietly listening to Christmas music thinking of all the things I am thankful for this time of year and how the kids and I can give back in some way to our neighbors around us. 

Think it's time to get out my book and curl up in my chair with the sun beaming down on me and snuggled in my favorite blanket.  Yup one of the many reasons I love this time of year so much.  The super cold temps and beaming sun.  Perfect combo!!!
