Was I in the wrong?

This is to all you moms out there that have your kids in daycare...
The little girl I watch is 31/2 years old, has been potty trained since last summer. She has never had any wetting problems with me at all, then all of a sudden in like the last month she has started peeing in her pants all the time! She has peed on my couch 3 times with in the last 3 weeks and she wet the bed today (she has never wet the bed at nap time) I have told her parents every time she pees in her pants and they shrug it off, and say "oh that's strange" no apologizing or anything! If it were me I would be apologizing left and right, but I guess that's just me... Obviously something is going on? what, I don't know. This poor girl has already been through quit a bit in her short little life. Today when her mom picked her up I told her what happened and that I thought it would be a good idea that they bring a pack of pull ups for my house. Was I in the right for asking for this?
I can't handle my furniture and now beds smelling like pee!! I have been very fortunate to have both my kids not be bed wetters and have never had to deal with this kind of thing.
Please someone, have ANY insight they can give me!?

you are totally in the right. Obviously something is going on with the little girl and it's unfortunate that her parents don't seem to take. i imagine she is stressed about something....good luck!

Selena is 3 1/2, been potty trained since last summer and has not had an accident at school(daycare) yet and she is there 5 days a week. Though they do all line-up and go potty together at least 4 times a day in addition to any time Selena has to go.
She has bee having some accidents at home lately, never in bed but when she gets home from school and usually on the way to the bathroom or in the bathroom before she can get her pants down. I don't think you are in the wrong for asking though I can see her parents taking it as you being "lazy" about potty training. I'm not saying you are at all I just see how other parents at Selena's school taking things. "My daughters pants have mud on them! How dare you let her get dirty in her school clothes!" I hear that one a lot when I'm picking Selena up. Some parents are crazy! Do you ask her to stop and go potty during the day? I'm sure you do.. Good luck!

Thanks guys! I ask her at least every 30-60 mins just so I don't have any accidents but as you can see this isn't stopping her. :( And after she does have an accident and I ask her if she did she denies it. It's sad I even suggested to her parents she could have a urinary track infection or some thing along those lines and they still have done nothing about it. Makes me crazy!

That is so hard because you don't want all of your furniture smelling like pee. Does she have accidents at home or is it just away?

They say she doesn't have them.. BUT just recently she has been coming over in the mornings FINALLY not wearing pullups in the mornings. So something fishy there? The poor girl would still be in her pull up from the night before and would be soaking through it. SHE IS 31/2!! That should not have been happening. Right? Her parents are young and lazy! Her dad has full custody through the courts, but her mom moved over here about 6 months ago and she has her all the time now. So I think it's a lost cause? So sad...
