Just me.

I haven't wrote anything for a while. Sorry to anyone who actually reads my scribblings.
I have been in a little of a funk lately. I really need to make this year a year of change for myself. I love all aspects of my life, but when a take a step back and look at the big picture, it seems to all be about my husband and kids, nothing for myself. I have given up on the salon. I used to go in evenings and weekends just for a little me time, and I loved it! I think all that my little life consists of is cleaning up toys and "trying" to stay on top of the laundry. SO BORING!!
What in the world has happened to me?
Where have I gone??

Well this is my year! Time for a fresh start. We are done having kids, and even though my children are little, doesn't mean I can't start focusing on my own life. Right?
I'm so excited to be going to the Las Vegas Beauty Show in June. I'm thinking this will be the start for me to take charge and get back in to the "beauty industry"

This is our year to have a fresh start! New beginnings. For the entire family. I'm excited about 2009 I know it holds big changes for our little family.

What is it about this series?

Can someone please explain to me what it is about these books that makes it so when you start reading you can't stop!

How this all began.
My sister has been reading the books and finally she went and took the kids to see the movie last Friday. I have not been in to these books at all, really. I had no idea what people were going to so crazy over them for? It was a little strange to me, I mean they are about Vampires for gods sake! Sunday was my sister's birthday and for it she really wanted me to go and see the movie with her and her daughter. For me it was more of getting out of the house with out kids or a hubby so I jumped on it. She just kept saying " I can't wait to see what you think of it after it's over." And well I kept just looking at her strangely. haha.

After the movie was over I could not believe I hadn't just on the ban wagon before this!! It was SO SO GOOD! Yes I am taking back anything and everything I have said about this movie or the books!

On the way home I decided I better stop and get at least the first book so I can get on to the second. Leaving the movie has you pondering what in the world happens in the second, third and fourth! Well last night I started reading around 8 and could NOT put it down, around midnight or one I decided I had to. I'm almost done with the book just from one night (yes I'm a slow reader)! It's totally biting me in the behind this morning cause I had a little Miss up and ready to start the day at 4 but what do you do. I could not stop reading!

Tonight is off to get the second book.

The joys of two.

Finally!
My two children have figured out how fun it is to actually play with each other instead of bickering and tugging on toys! I'm sure this will only last well "tonight" but
it is so fun to watch them having so much fun together and listening to their little
giggles.

Who knew a little green tote could be so much fun!

Averee has also discovered how much fun the bath is.

In the bath
(if you look close you can actually see some hair growing!)

And out of it.
She loves playing in there when her big brother in slashing around.

Can't get enough of this weather!

I don't know about everyone, but here on our side of the mountain we have had some amazing, beautiful weather! Record highs the last couple of days. Yesterday we made it past 60! You combine that with the sun beaming down on you it's pretty warm. The kids and I have been trying to take advantage of it as much as we can. So today we went to my sisters for lunch and then adventured out on a hike. It was beautiful!!! By the time we made it back I had one kid on my back and holding the other in the front (nothin like a little extra weight to burn more calories). On the way home we didn't even make it on to the main road and I had two kids out and two dogs out in the very back. It was a nice peaceful drive home. :)

It's time!

Can you believe it, Ryder just turned 3 this past Saturday and now the time has come to figure out what preschool we will be sending him to! I can't believe that he gets to go to school next year. :( He is so so excited about it. Everyday the school bus drives by our house and he doesn't stop talking about wanting to go to school, like Austin, Kaitlyn, Garrett, and Logan. (all his cousins) I sit here overwhelmed by what I'm supposed to do next. I know I have to enroll him with in the next few months but where to begin!!! I have sat down this morning and made a list of the preschools near us, and looked up the ones with websites and took down numbers, so I guess the next step is to go and visit them all and see what "feels" right for our little Ry guy? Wish us luck!!
